Guidelines for Parents

ADMISSION

1. Admission starts from class Nursery. Minimum age for admission to nursery is 3 years. The age of admission to other classes shall be determined on the same basis.
2. Enrolment in St. Anthony’s School implies on the part of the student and parents, a willingness to comply with the requirements and regulations of the school.
3. Parents who seek admission of their children (transfer cases only) are requested to submit a written application along with the progress report of the student.
4. Student who has attended another school cannot be admitted without a transfer certificate from the school he/she last attended. In the case of such transfer cases it is imperative that the candidate should have studied previously in an English Medium School.
5. Students will be tested in the standard immediately below that to which they seek admission. They are required to undergo a written examination.
6. Candidates must be introduced to the principal personally by the one who will be responsible for their conduct and payment of fees.

SCHOOL FEES

1. Admission fee has to be paid at the time of admission and for promotion to new sections (Pre-Primary, Primary school, etc.). The School fees cover twelve calendar months and may be paid in monthly installments or in advance. No reduction is made for holidays or broken periods. Pupils are liable to be charged full fees as long as their names are officially on the rolls. Fees once paid are not refunded.
2. Fees for each month must be paid by the 15th of the month. Except for the months when school remains closed on the above mentioned dates due to vacation, fees are payable on the first week of re-opening of the school. Fees for the month of March has to be paid by 20th February every year. Fees defaulters will be charged cumulatively Rs. 50/- per month as late fee.
3. Fee book should be filled in and signed before it is presented at the counter for payment of fees.
4. The tuition fee may increase at the start of the academic year. 5 % annual increase in the tuition fee is normal.
5. A duplicate copy of the fee book may be obtained from the school office on a written petition stating the reason and on payment of Rs. 50.
6. If a student seeks admission to the school during an academic year which is already on its course will have to pay the fees from the beginning of the session.
7. All fees due must be cleared before the commencement of each assessment. Anyone who has not cleared the dues will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
8. Pupils whose fees are overdue for three months, at any time their name will be taken off the registers of the school without any warning whatsoever. In such case a re-admission is possible on payment of all dues with admission fee.
9. Any certificate (except Transfer Certificate) or letter from the school will cost Rs. 100/-
